Research and teaching specialties of GIPS are the followings: Overseas Chinese Studies, National Development Theory, Globalization and Constitutionalism, Theory of Democratization, Western Political Thought, Political Party and Election, Political Behaviour, Public International Law, International Organization, Mainland Chinese Political and Economic Development, Cross Strait Relations, International Relations Theory, and International Political Economy.
The purpose of the programs in the GIPS is to promote and develop students’ academic research or working capability in political science.
